Shokz Bone Transmission Headset - Annoying Low Battery Warning

Managers should NEVER be allowed to specify product features.  I'm assuming this particular product feature came from a manager's desk somewhere.

The Shokz bone transmission headset, when its battery gets low, instead of just powering off to preserve the remaining charge in the battery, starts announcing every 5 minutes "Charge me."  The irony is that this "feature" is probably only active when the headset is on standby (no active audio), and the periodic announcement assuredly runs the battery completely dead EVEN FASTER!!

I'm partly posting this to possibly help someone figure out what ANNOYING device is emitting this sound that is obviously words, instead of a beep, but it would be nearly impossible to understand what words unless the headset is actually on your head.  The other part of this post is a desperate plea to legitimate product designers to stand up to your managers and reject their horrible design ideas.

The fact that it only emits this vague sound every 5 minutes, makes it VERY time consuming to narrow down which device is emitting the sound (of the dozens or hundreds that might be lying around in a typical home these days).  The manager who suggested this design must have been taking a page from the smoke detector "beep every minute, starting at 3am, but give NO other indication like a flashing LED" design play-book.

After finally locating which stupid device was making this sound, I amused my wife by responding to its "Charge me." with "Maybe I'll just throw you in the trash instead, you piece of !@#$."

Anyway... just adding to the "noise" a web search gives back when someone searches for some of the keywords I've tried to intentionally include here, and maybe save someone a few 5-minute rounds of searching, when it's obviously NOT the AnnoyingPCB cricket prank, but a non-prank product that is designed to be just as annoying.
